Maureen is a leader in the field of children's emotional health and parenting. Her unique approach blends eastern psychology with western science to give parents, educators and adults both insightful and practical tools.

She loves working with parents no matter where you are located (from Asia to Atlanta). Maureen finds the telephone and skype very effective tools. Recently, she has been helping many parents discover: 

  • Is my child Highly Sensitive? If yes, what can I do to help him or her succeed? 
  • How I can teach my son about his emotions?
  • Is my child depressed? anxious?  How can we help him or her feel calmer?
  • How can I help my bullied child? 
Of course, this is a small sample of the varying types of challenges that Maureen can help you with. She is also based in Asheville, NC and meets with parents as well as children directly in her office. Maureen has been very effective at helping kids navigate tricky situations (for example, school bullies and self-esteem issues) and also guiding parents on ways to help their children thrive.
 
Maureen's aim is always to faciltiate your children's overall health (mental, emotional, physical) and also lead you to more clarity in your most important role - as a parent or teacher!
