Maureen Healy is an award-winning author and leader in the field of children’s emotional health. Her book, Growing Happy Kids, won the Nautilus Book Award and Reader’s Favorite in 2014. She also writes a popular blog for Psychology Today, and has contributed to the PBS series, This Emotional Life.
With more than 15 years of global experience, Maureen continues to work with parents and children directly. Currently, her mentoring program helping children grow emotionally healthy and happier (link) has participants worldwide. Maureen’s traditional educational credentials include a BA in Psychology and MBA from Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts. She also completed her doctoral coursework in Clinical Child Psychology from Fielding Graduate University, which is based in Santa Barbara, California. As an avid learner and teacher, Maureen seeks to grow from every person she meets and experience she has. “Life is never boring” she says.
